                       Covered Bridge Post #536

The monthly Post meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 3 at 8:00 PM in the Library at the Clubhouse of Covered Bridge I.

Sunday, August 8 is the JWV's trip to the Marina. The bus is scheduled to arrive at

the bus stop at Covered Bridge I's Clubhouse around 9:15 AM. The bus will proceed to                                                                                                                                                      . \

Covered Bridge II's bus stop, pick up additional residents, and leave for Atlantic City around 9:30 AM. The free Jitney tickets are still available. Please call Al Brown for seat reservations at (732) ;972-7893. A previous sign-in sheet is NOT as guarantee of a reserved seat, it is just used as a guide for Al Brown.

Monday, August 16 is the JWV's trip to the Menlo Park Soldiers' Home. The minibus arrives around 12:30 PM, in front of Covered Bridge I's Clubhouse. We organize a Bingo game and serve cookies and coffee. Volunteers are always needed, as Post 536 gives the vets a day of enjoyment, most of who are in wheelchairs. Please call Commander Izzy Abramczyk at (732) 617-8668 to join us. You will witness the thanks we get from the men and women who have served our country.
