                      Covered Bridge Post #536

The monthly Post Meeting will be held Tuesday, February 7th at 10:30 AM in the Clubhouse Library, at that time there will be first nominations of officers. New members who join our Post will have all dues paid for the year! Please call our Commander Izzy Abramczyk at (732) 617-8668 for additional information.

Sunday, February 12th is the JWV's trip to the Golden Nugget. The bus is scheduled to arrive at the bus stop at Covered Bridge I's Clubhouse around 9:15 AM. The bus will proceed to Covered Bridge IPs bus stop, pick up additional residents, and leave for Atlantic City around 9:30 AM. The free Jitney tickets are still available. Please call Al Brown for seat reservations at (732) 972-7893. A previous sign-in sheet is NOT a guarantee of a reserved seat, it is just used as a guide for Al Brown.

                   Remember Our VETERANS

Our usual trip to Menlo Park will be Monday, February 27th. The minibus will pick us up around 1:00 PM for the short trip to the soldiers' home. We meet in the clubhouse of Covered Bridge I at 12:30 PM. We are usually home around 4:00 PM. The men and women veterans are always happy to see us, as we arrange a Bingo game that brings enjoyment to the vets. Most of the veterans are wheel-chair bound, while others need assistance to move the bingo markers. Volunteers are always needed and welcome!
