FEBRUARY 2012It looks like this year the weather is on our side—good temperature, no

Hope everyone enjoyed New Years Eve and time with family and friends.
As you all know the Access Control System at the Clubhouse has been in
full operation for almost 6 months. The system has brought us added
security and some extra benefits. Among them has been the in ability of
unit residents, in units that are in arrears on their maintenance, from using
the facilities. First it has identified the unit residents and second CBCA has
been able to identify the nonpaying entities. Through the efforts of Trustee
Betty Logan and myself we have collected more than $50,000 of
outstanding fees that have been dormant for years. We have also arranged
for the direct collection of some rents by CBCA.— Job well done Betty—
We are now extending our efforts to eliminate the underage residents, commercial vehicles and unauthorized vehicles through the establishment of a system of parking permits and the towing of unidentified vehicles.— Stay Tuned more to come—
I am please to advise that the new gas heating system is maintaining comfortable temperature in all the card rooms and meeting rooms. This system is computer controlled to maintain an optimum comfort level.
As a result of a 3 to 2 vote of the Board of Trustees, Carolee Trifon has been selected to fill the seat vacated by Bob Yacknowitz until the election in May. On a similar note we have just received the resignation from Ida Amore, which means that there will be 4 seats up for election. There will be 1-3 year term, 2-2 year terms and 1-1 year term. Get your applications at the office.
