I REALLY WASN'T CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR ARTICLE REGARDING COVERED BRIDGE EXCEPT FOR THE HEADLINE (HORROR STORY) AND A COUPLE OF MISINFORMATION POINTS SUCH AS SOMEONE WAITING IN THE WINTER WHEN WE DIDN'T HAVE THE COMMUNITY BUS RUNNING IN THE WINTER TIME AS YET.
MY REASON FOR THIS EMAIL IS THAT I WISH TO INVITE YOU TO MEET WITH ME TO SHOW YOU THE MANY THINGS WE DO AT THIS COMMUNITY AND THE VERY MANY SERVICES WE PROVIDE. LETTER FROM IRVING REIFF TO;
Frank Donofrio, President Covered Bridge Board of Trustees
Due to a conflict of interest, I must resign my position of Treasurer of Covered Bridge effective December 31,2008. As of January 1,2009 I will be the President of the HOCB organization in Covered Bridge .
The past four years, as Treasurer I was able to assist with all the Trustees, in keeping the maintenance charges the same for the past 3 years. It was my pleasure to work with all the Trustees in all the efforts to keep costs down, while keeping all of Covered Bridge activities readily available to all owners and renters.
My special thanks to all the volunteers, who assisted me, as well as all the Trustees that I worked with for the past 4 years. Including but especially Carolee, Estelle, Sid, Sally, Hal and Sy and all the wonderful volunteers, who made all the parties and the swimming pool the success that it is. The best thing during my tenure was having you as president. You made very good things happen here in Covered Bridge.
