C.H.H.S. URGENT MESSAGE FROM C. H. H. S., INC.
To all our friends here in Covered Bridge, we are asking your cooperation in our attempt to maintain our services for the forth coming holiday season of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. If you want Condominium High Holy-day Services to continue with these services, nearer your homes, and at low cost, we must have additional volunteers. There are no membership dues and few meetings. It is not necessary to be a resident of Covered Bridge. Contact Secretary Helen Stich at (732) 972-6485, also the writer of this appeal, or Al Brown, President ofC. H. H. S. Inc., at (732) 972-7893.
Weare in the process of seeking a rabbi and cantor who will make use of drop microphones that were used in years past. We desire all congregants to be able to hear and enjoy the services, as well as the sermon that the rabbi would deliver.
Where else in this area could you find the cost of your participation in the services at such a low cost? Most synagogues charge membership fees, as well as High Holy Day tickets' fees far above our resident charges, while nonresidents pay slightly larger fees. So come join us and become a welcome member!
