SCAT BUS TO HELP THE DISABLED AND INFIRM WITH THEIR FOOD SHOPPING

If you are handicapped and need help shopping call Sam Goldberg at 732-972-8794 and he will pick you up at home on Tuesday afternoon using a bus supplied by Monmouth County. You will be taken to the nearby Shop Rite Supermarket, assisted with shopping if necessary and then returned to your home.

LINE DANCING

HEAR THOSE HAPPY FEET??!! WE'RE SLIDING, WE'RE GLIDING, WE'RE TWIRLING AND WE'RE WHIRLING!! Come join dance classes - Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 AM in the Party Room. There is no charge and no experience needed.

FOLK DANCING

Come do a few squares with us! We would really like to do some reels with you. Every Monday at 10:00 PM in the Party Room or Ballroom as shown on calendar. No charge, no experience needed. No need to reg­ister, just come.

MEDITATION GROUP

All are welcome to the Meditation Group which meets on Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM and Thursday at 8:00 PM in the Library. For further information call Imma at 732-735-5062.

3D ART

Come on all you would be artists! We meet on Monday, 11 AM to 12:30 PM in the Card Room opposite the Ceramics Room. No special talent is needed for this course. A fitness class for all ages on Fridays at 10:00 AM in the Party Room. No need to register, just bring your­self and join the fun!

TRANSPORTATION FOR MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

Please call 5 business days in advance of your scheduled appoint­ment. This service is provided specifically for those in need of transportation to chemotherapy or radiation appointments.

          Hearing Aids

Hearing aids that are not being used or a unit that is not working are collected and recycled and distributed to the needy. Please wash the hearing aid in alcohol and put it in a plastic bag and drop it in the box in the clubhouse lobby marked Hearing Aids. For more information call Ruth Falsone 732-972-5241.

Those with hearing difficulties may want to take advantage of the following information. The State Di­vision of Deaf and Hard of Hearing, 1-800-792-8339, offers a list of places providing financial consideration for hearing aids based on ability to pay.

             Old Eyeglasses and Cell Phones

"55 ALIVE" SAFE DRIVING COURSE

The HOCB Organization will be hosting AARP's Defensive Driving course.

Classes are being scheduled

Thursday, March 15 and Friday, March 16

in the Clubhouse - Library

The course starts at 9 A.M.

and runs until 12 Noon each day.

There is a fee for attendance. If you are a member of AARP the fee for the course is $12.00. If you are not a member of AARP the fee for the course is $14.00. There are no required ver­bal or written exams. AARP requires the course to be taken every three years. The course will enable you to take advantage of the discounted insurance rates. Please bring your current valid drivers license to class. Please call Bea - 732-536-8340 if you have any questions or if you would like to enroll in the Defensive Driving Class.
